Firriato 's Nero d'Avola Sicilia Chiaramonte is a red wine with an intense ruby color , enriched by vivid purple hues . The nose shows an impeccable and fragrant fruit, of surprising clarity , from which aromas emerge, alternating, reminiscent of plum and blackberries , black cherries and blueberries , cloves , black pepper , licorice , dark chocolate and humus .

This Firriato red is produced in the DĂ gala Borromeo estate in the western part of Sicily : the uniqueness of this area is the composition of the soils , a unique terroir that gives complexity to the structure of the wines .
