Description

The Chianti Classico DOCG of Rignana Magnum is one of the testimonial wines of the blessing of Bacchus on Tuscany!

Produced from 85% Sangiovese grapes and 15% Canaiolo grapes and other classic Tuscan grapes , this red wine is a typical vintage Chianti Classico .

Rignana is a wine with an intense ruby red colour. The nose has aromas of fruit and violets, enriched by pleasant spicy notes. On the palate it is soft and fresh, with an excellent flavor on the finish.

Why you should drink it

Because this wine is the representation of the Chianti Classico Magnum version : fruity, rich in mineral salts and soft and pleasant tannins.

When to uncork it

Rignana's Chianti Classico DOCG is the classic wine that goes well with everything, because it's already excellent on its own.

However, in addition to drinking well, we also like to eat. So what do we pair it with? Fresh pasta, meat sauce and cured meats are the deadly combo of this wine.

Seeing is believing!

How to drink it

To best enjoy this Rignana, serve it at the table around 18\20°C.

Vinification and Aging

Rignana's Chianti Classico DOCG is 85% produced with Sangiovese grapes and 15% with Canaiolo grapes , strictly hand-picked in the first days of October. Vinification takes place in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 27°C for 21 days, then the wine ages in third passage oak barriques for 12 months before being bottled.

Territory

The Chianti Classico DOCG of Rignana was born in the vineyards of the homonymous farm, located in the Panzano area, in the heart of Greve in Chianti.
