GRACCIANO DELLA SETA
Tenuta di Gracciano is one of the oldest companies in the Montepulciano area. The Villa built in the early nineteenth century is surrounded by an Italian garden that dates back to that time, where in addition to wine, the various typical products of Tuscan sharecropping were grown. The vineyards are located on the silty-clayey soils of the hills of Gracciano, one of the most prestigious historical crus in Montepulciano. We recall that since 1864 the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano of the then Svetoni cellars (now Tenuta di Gracciano della Seta) won an award at the Turin international fair. The company has always been directed by renowned winemakers (such as Nicolò d'Afflitto since 1985 and since 1995 by Beppe Rigoli) who have contributed to ensuring that the Gracciano Estate produces the excellent Vino Nobile di Gracciano della Seta, in the absolute respect for the terroir and enhancing the indigenous vines.
