Description

Gewurztraminer Nussbaumer is the white wine par excellence of the Tramin winery : their maximum expression of the grape .

It has a deep straw yellow color in the glass, with golden reflections and has a surprising olfactory kaleidoscope of floral notes of rose petals , spicy white flowers such as lily , ylang ylang , tiare . Exotic notes of ripe yellow fruit , melon , mango , passion fruit , lemon peel ; aromatic spices such as cinnamon , cloves , nutmeg , ginger , saffron .

A sip of rare aromatic complexity , without falling into cloying.

Why you should drink it

Because it is a full-bodied, deep , spicy , juicy wine , characterized by an intense aroma , freshness and a marked minerality that is accentuated with aging , making it even more seductive and with an extremely persistent finish .

When to uncork it

How to drink it

Store in a cool place , away from light, bottle lying down. Refrigerate up to 24 hours before opening. Open a few moments before serving it at the table and enjoy it with friends.

Vinification and Aging

The grapes are harvested by hand and placed in small containers . After pressing it is left to macerate briefly in the must , followed by soft pressing . Slow fermentation at a controlled temperature . Refinement in steel . After bottling, the wine is left in the bottle for a minimum of 3 months .

Territory

The grapes come from vineyards that extend on hills adjacent to the mountain , at an altitude between 350 and 550 meters above sea level. The vineyards are located in the municipalities of Egna, Ora and Montagna .
