The Aglianico Dal Re by Feudi di San Gregorio is made from 100% Aglianico grapes , a label from the Selezioni line of the well-known Capaldo family company. A young and intriguing expression of Irpinia from a vine grown in central-southern Italy since time immemorial, the first evidence of which dates back to Roman times .
On the nose it presents intense aromas of red berries, enriched with notes of liquorice and sweet spices while on the palate it is soft and balanced , with velvety tannins that accompany towards a pleasantly persistent and aromatic finish.
First of all, the label is minimal and elegant , making it certain that its silhouette will immediately catch everyone's eye.
Then, Aglianico Dal Re is certainly not made to go unnoticed, we are talking about a wine that also conquers with its easy drinking that will take you through a journey through the vineyards of Irpinia .
A wine to share or to pamper yourself , perfect to enjoy with vegetable soups , in particular try it with a nice meat stew or a nice roast .
Uncork the bottle and let the wine breathe for a few minutes , at a temperature of 16-18 â .
Fermentation takes place, with maceration, in steel tanks for approximately 2-3 weeks . Subsequently the wine ages for 6 months in French oak barriques and after a brief passage in steel, for 6 months in the bottle , before being released on the market.
The Feudi di San Gregorio winery is located in Irpinia , in the province of Avellino .
