Garitta di Cascina Garitina is a red wine from Monferrato , more precisely from Castel Boglione , in the province of Asti .

Here the Morino family owns 26 hectares in which they only grow red berried grapes , with particular attention to Barbera , which makes up 85% of the vineyards .

Garitta di Cascina Garitina is a Barbera in purity - that is made exclusively from Barbera grapes without other cuts of different vines - produced with artisanal methods by a family of generations of winemakers whose only goal is to create wines that are able to fully express the identity of the territory .

The result is a tasty and dynamic Barbera , with an enveloping fruit , absolutely worth trying .

Because it is a Barbera made by those who have been involved in producing Barbera for decades . An idea of the vine that aims at the representation of the territory , created by those who have lived the territory for generations. Vinification and Aging

We are located in Alto Monferrato , in Castel Boglione . Here Cascina Garitina owns about 26 hectares of vineyards located at an altitude ranging from 240 to 320 meters above sea level. One of the strengths of the area is the Mediterranean climate , mild even in winter.
