Description

Cuvée Tradition di Colonnara is the first sparkling wine produced in 1970 by Colonnara , a historic cooperative company from Cupramontana , in the province of Ancona .

A wine that every year preserves and expresses the charm of a birthright that knows how to renew itself , starting from its particular label . The color is straw yellow with bright greenish reflections , brilliant . Fine and persistent perlage. Delicate floral scents of acacia and mimosa , yellow flowers and fruity notes of almond and peach .

Why you should drink it

Because it is historically one of the first bubbles in the Marche region , with a popular and easy to approach character. A wine that is dry , quite warm in alcohol , soft , with a remarkable freshness and delicate sapidity and pleasant final aromatic hints of almond .

When to uncork it

This Cuvée Tradition by Colonnara goes perfectly with an aperitif , but also goes well with delicately structured dishes, such as boiled crustaceans dressed with mayonnaise, fish fruits, Ascolana-style olives and Italian-style mixed fry.

How to drink it

This Cuvée Tradition by Colonnara , I would recommend letting it cool in the fridge for about twenty minutes and serving it at an average temperature of 8-10 degrees in a medium-height flute glass .

Vinification and Aging

Manual and early harvest of the grapes . Soft pressing , cleaning of the must and fermentation at a controlled temperature . Refermentation in large vats according to the Martinotti method ( Charmat ).

Territory

The territory on which this Cuvée Tradition di Colonnara is produced is hilly (about 500/600 meters above sea level) in the municipalities of Cupramontana and Apiro, which are located in the province of Ancona.

Soil

The soil is of marine origin , of medium texture , with elevated peaks of clay and sand .
