Description

This "O Cônâ" Valpolcevera coronata DOC produced by Villa Cambiaso is obtained from a blend of Vermentino , Albarola and Bianchetta Genovese , the most cultivated varieties on the hills, suited to viticulture, behind Genoa.

The nose is intense and persistent , fine , ample , with clear vegetable, floral and fruity hints of acacia and almond flowers, vine peach, quince and woody moods, while in the mouth it is dry , fresh and sapid , a little mineral , pleasantly warm, full and continuous .

Why you should drink it

A fresh and young wine that brings all the strength of the grapes grown behind Genoa into the glass, the perfect bottle when you want to enjoy something that makes up your day ( and to drive away the heat ).

When to uncork it

This is a wine that goes incredibly well with the courses of a fish aperitif or with dishes based on fish or white meat .

How to drink it

To drink nice chilled , at a temperature of 8/10°C .

Vinification and Aging

Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature with the addition of selected yeasts , batonnage is carried out during fermentation to keep the fine lees in suspension. The wine remains in contact with the fine lees until shortly before bottling , giving rise to spontaneous clarification .

Territory

We are in Val Polcevera , i.e. the hills surrounding Genoa , which have always been described as an " uninterrupted garden ": villas and monasteries surrounded by gardens and terraces on which there were vineyards, vegetable gardens and orchards.

Soil

The soil is mainly clayey characterized by a covering of outcropping quartz and flaking slates .
