From the fiery land of Etna comes this Etna Bianco Doc by La Gelsomina , a splendid natural setting creates a real natural amphitheater where the Catarratto and Carricante grapes used to produce this gem are born.

A fresh white wine with intense , complex and elegant aromas embellished with notes of white fruit, jasmine flowers and pleasant citrus scents, while on the palate it is measured and harmonious with incredible freshness .

La Gelsomina knows Sicily well and this Etna Bianco attests it clearly, without allowing space for replicas , a white that draws fullness of character from the territory it comes from, just like the many myths that find their roots in Sicily.

When to uncork it

This is a wine to try and to be tried , especially if your plans include fish - based meals but also fresh and delicate cheeses .

How to drink it

To drink chilled , uncork it at a temperature of 10-12 C° .

Vinification and Aging

Cryomaceration for 12 hours at 10°; completion of the fermentation in steel and at least 4 months in the bottle .

Territory

We are in Sicily , an island that has always been suited to viticulture, more precisely on the slopes of Etna where the vineyards used to create this white are located, a unique area where exposure creates favorable conditions for growing vines and obtaining high-end products .

Soil

The soil is of volcanic origin , with punctual characteristics like the canvas of an impressionist, in fact each successive lava flow over time has left different characteristics to the various pieces of land .
