Description

Brunello di Montalcino "Castelgiocondo" is a wine that bears the passing of time and respect for tradition, a value that the Marchesi de' Frescobaldi winery , still today, after 700 years of history, continues to emphasize in each of its labels.

It is a territorial red , which expresses the potential of Sangiovese within one of the most renowned terroirs in all of Tuscany, born from a very careful selection of Sangiovese grapes made by the Frescobaldi winery team.

The nose has fruity scents, among which raspberry, black currant and pomegranate stand out, enriched by floral notes of violet and rose, which then leave room for spicy nuances of white pepper, anise and cloves. In the mouth it reveals a dense and elegant tannic texture and a full body together with a long warm and slightly spicy finish.
