Alta Langa by Cantina Garesio is a sparkling bubble produced in the Langhe with the classic method . The bubble, for the Garesio winery, was a necessary step in the storytelling process of all the nuances of the Langa area. Opposite the historic vineyard of Cerretta, in Serralunga d'Alba, the first vineyard dedicated to pinot noir was born, followed by the subsequent development on high ground, in the so-called "Alta Langa" .

The characteristics of this Alta Langa Garesio: healthy agriculture, vinification in steel to enhance the aromatic spectrum and a subsequent long work on the lees , no dosage of sugars to obtain an unconstructed breath and faithful to the trend of the vintage.

Alta Langa is synonymous with quality and this expression signed by the Garesio winery best interprets the idea of dedicated vineyards and a tailor-made project for a level bubble.

In fact, Garesio is a family story: over the years, the passion for wine has led to a constant and punctual search for the places suited to the best wine production.

Since 2010 the family has purchased about 20 hectares of land dedicated to wine production divided between Serralunga d'Alba, the heart of the Langhe da Barolo, Monferrato and Alta Langa.

How to drink it

Cold but not frozen .

Attention: use a large glass , not a flûte, because it is a bubble of structure, with a lot of permanence on the lees, which needs amplitude to express itself at its best.

Vinification and Aging

The grapes are softly pressed, the must ferments in steel at a controlled temperature to maintain the integrity of the aromas .

A classic method based on Pinot Noir with slow refermentation in the bottle for at least 40 months. At the disgorgement, no "liqueur", without any dosage .

Wine with a straw yellow color and a fine and persistent perlage.


The vineyards are partly cultivated in the municipality of Serralunga d'Alba , with ideal exposure for the typology and partly in the Alta Langa , in Perletto, where Garesio was one of the first to decide to invest and believe in the made in Italy sparkling wine project.


Alta Langa is the name used to define the hills of the Langhe with the highest reliefs. In fact, what makes this area truly special is the altitude.

The soil is rich in marl , limestone and clay and the microclimate is cool in summer and decidedly harsh in winter. On the one hand this combination of elements decreases the fertility of the vineyards and on the other it increases and strengthens the complexity of the wines .
