Description

" Terebinto " is yet another confirmation of the Sicilian DNA of the Planeta winery , the name derives from the name of a shrub with shiny fronds , which has always been linked to Sicily and the Mediterranean landscape.

A wine made from 100% Grillo grapes originating from Sicily, the nose expresses classic hints of tropical yellow fruit and Mediterranean herbs, on the palate it is fresh and mineral , supported by a marked fruity taste that persists in the finish.

The name of Planeta is already synonymous with the highest Sicilian quality , furthermore this is undoubtedly among the labels that best represent the winery not only in Italy, but all over the world .

When to uncork it

This is a wine which goes incredibly well with vegetarian dishes and tasty seafood recipes , especially if they are dishes based on molluscs and crustaceans .

How to drink it

To drink nice chilled , at a temperature of 8/10°C .

Vinification and Aging

Vinification with an alcoholic fermentation phase which takes place in stainless steel at a temperature of 14°C for 18-20 days , then the refinement is carried out in stainless steel for 3 months in contact with the fine lees.

Territory

We are in the Menfi area, in the province of Agrigento , a beautiful setting in eastern Sicily where the vines absorb the characteristics of the land.

Soil

Soils mainly clayey- calcareous .
