Description

Sauvignon Mirum grows on espalier farms in the municipality of Caldaro, the South Tyrolean homeland of white grapes . Unterhofer is a young reality but one that over the years has been able to enhance the typical mountain grapes , in this case not trivializing a vine known as sauvignon , on the contrary, enhancing the more complex aspects: the scent of elderberry and the note of nettle make it harmonious and curious to sip.

Why you should drink it

Unterhofer's Mirum Sauvignon is a wine that has made its way and slowly conquered even the most difficult enthusiasts with its character.

So why not try it? His strong personality will be able to convince you without having to make too many speeches, in short... First we drink, then we talk, right!?

When to uncork it

Are you at that moment in your life when you decided to experiment in the kitchen?

Very good: Unterhofer's Mirum Sauvignon is a wine that goes very well with any type of dish: whether with appetizers, fish or white meat dishes, risotto or vegetables. Seeing is believing!

How to drink it

To drink this Sauvignon, serve it at 10°C, aromaticity and minerality will be best expressed.

Vinification and Aging

To increase the quality of the grapes, the bunches are thinned out on the vine. In September, then, the destemming of the grapes takes place, the pressing of the berries and the fermentation of the must at a controlled temperature and the aging in large wooden barrels.

Territory

The Unterhofer family is based in South Tyrol, in Caldaro, one of the Italian capitals for white grape varieties.
