Valle D'Aosta Pinot Noir Dop 2022 - Le Clocher

€14.01

Description

We are located in the central basin of the Valley, a few kilometers from Aosta: here Danilo and his daughter Nicole lead the family business which boasts 4.5 hectares of vineyards and which produces about 35,000 bottles a year in 12 different labels.

One of these vineyards has been harshly cultivated and worked, managing to obtain an excellent result that Danilo has wisely bottled in a Pinot Nero DOC .

The Valle d'Aosta Pinot Nero DOC by Le Clocher is presented in a light ruby red glass with cherry nuances. Fruity on the nose with flavors of blackberry and black cherry, if aged spices and tar. On the palate it is very balanced, warm and soft.

Why you should drink it

Because the Le Clocher farm has employed body and soul for the cultivation and vinification of this product, finding an area suitable for the vineyards of this variety, creating a Pinot Noir that expresses itself with a decisive character.

And what are you doing? Don't you want to try the fruit of this hard work?

When to uncork it

Can a Pinot exist without a plate of cured meats or meat? Well, maybe yes, but we say it would be a shame.

Valle d'Aosta Pinot Nero DOC is not an exception, on the contrary: it is reconfirmed as an excellent accompanying wine for this type of dishes, but if you want to exaggerate then pair it with the sumptuous Blue d'Aoste, a blue cheese or with the toma of Gressoney.

How to drink it

The tasting temperature should be around 18-20 ° C to be able to enjoy this Pinot to the fullest.
