Puglia Chardonnay Igt 2023 - Tormaresca

Description

Tormaresca's Chardonnay is a white wine from Puglia produced by the Tormaresca company with 100% Chardonnay grapes , a white that amazes for its freshness right from the first sips.

A real peculiarity if you think of the white wines of southern Italy, usually warmer and more demanding, here instead the lightness dominates , the common thread of the whole tasting experience, with hints of orange blossom, rose and lavender, with a fresh palate and delicate savory and fruity aftertaste.

Why you should drink it

Because this is a white that gives us a fragrant and fresh drinking experience , a pearl built by Tormaresca to give a unique experience with regard to the white wines of the South.

When to uncork it

Perfect match with appetizers and fish first courses , in particular I suggest you accompany it with spaghetti with clams , with potato and anchovy pie or with a nice Andria burrata.

How to drink it

Keep the bottle in a cool place and serve it at a temperature of 8-10°C .

Vinification and Aging

Soft pressing followed by cold static decantation for 24 hours and alcoholic fermentation in steel. The refinement takes place for a few months in steel.

Territory

We are located in the Masseria Maime , one of the most beautiful areas of the upper Salento , here stands the estate characterized by a large courtyard formerly used for storing grain and for winemaking.

Soil

The soil is predominantly calcareous with sandy soils alternating.
