" Il Cassino " is a Bonarda dell'Oltrepò Pavese DOC (lively) produced by Alessio Brandolini .

Alessio is part of the last generation of the four to lead the family vines . Growing up in a family of winemakers , his aim was to take over the full management of the family project right from the start: studies, training and enthusiasm led him to make his dreams come true. Current owner , he managed to catch up and improve his predecessors .

This Bonarda is produced in the municipalities of San Damiano al Colle and Montù Beccaria , in the province of Pavia .

Quite structured and tannic , the acidity is contained and is balanced by a good softness . The color is ruby red , the nose is fruity thanks to its hints of cherry , morello cherry with a light floral touch .
