Description

Neprica is a red wine produced by the Tormaresca company with 100% Negroamaro grapes , a typical vine of the stupendous Apulian tradition of which this wine is the undisputed ambassador.

The Tormaresca company, owned by the Antinori family , is dedicated to bringing a pure and sincere product into the glass, in fact this Neprica has hints of cherry and pomegranate on the nose with slight notes of violet and dog rose, on the palate it is soft , distinguished by an elegant tannin with good freshness capable of enhancing the characteristic minerality .

When to uncork it

This Neprica di Tormaresca is an excellent table wine, very versatile , I suggest you taste it together with main courses of meat or in front of a nice appetizer of cured meats .

How to drink it

Uncork it and let the wine breathe for just a few minutes , serve it at a temperature of 16-18°C .

Vinification and Aging

Alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature with maceration on the skins for about 10 days. The refinement lasts 8 months in steel and then 4 months in the bottle.

Territory

We are in the beautiful Apulian wine theater , here the Antinori family has decided to invest since 1998, so as to create unique and highly valuable labels.

Soil

The soil is predominantly calcareous with sandy soils alternating.
