Description

“ Harmoge ” is a wine that faithfully photographs the magic of the Cinque Terre , a unique synthesis of flavor , fruit and Mediterranean scrub . Walter De Battù , before being a winemaker or artisan of the land, is a man gifted with culture and extreme sensitivity. Guardian of one of the most evocative areas of the entire Italian panorama, but at the same time more difficult to manage.

This white wine comes from Vermentino , Bosco and Albarola grapes, harvested at full ripeness. This makes Harmoge capable of expressing complex and varied aromas , ranging from hints of ripe fruit such as apricot, to iodine and salty hints, a real dive into the sea , preceded by a walk among wild herbs and Mediterranean scrub. The sip has pulp, fills the mouth with its substance and is balanced by the tannin due to maceration.

Why you should drink it

Walter works his hectares in Riomaggiore with a few simple gestures , in the name of reduced and targeted interventionism, which has allowed this terroir to express itself in a unique way , different from all the others.

Originality, in all its meanings.

When to uncork it

Harmoge is a wine to be enjoyed regardless of the occasion , excellent with stewed fish main courses and fish soups , it also goes well with hot fish starters and risottos .

How to drink it

An artisanal white wine that to be best appreciated I recommend you let it 'breathe' for at least 15-30 minutes , serve it chilled, at 10-12°C .

Delicious already now, but I'll tell you a secret, it can hold surprises if you manage to resist it for a couple of years .

Vinification and refinement

Spontaneous fermentation in steel and maceration on the skins for 8 days. Soft pressing, static decantation for approximately 2 months, assembly and decanting without filtration .

Territory

We are on the Ligurian coasts of the East, the winery is located in the small village of Campiglia while the Saladero project was born on the coasts of Montaretto , on the hills between Bonassola and Levanto . Coasts kissed by the sun and sea breezes.

Soil

Coastal terraces overlooking the sea , characterized by soils with a large skeleton , and very little earthy layer, the result? Grapes of great depth for strongly characterized wines!
