Antonio Zoppi, originally from Bonassola, and Aida Forgione, from Campania and winegrower for generations, knew each other more than thirty years ago. In love with that place they have chosen as their home, the Ligurian Riviera di Levante, and precisely the village of Bonassola, Antonio and Aida become winemakers, putting their knowledge and passions to good use. Over the years they bought farmhouses and land in the surrounding area, Cinque Terre included, and began to live, challenging those slopes that make Ligurian viticulture heroic, and arranging dry stone walls, another local specialty. And so in 2000 Cà du Ferrà was born, a winery and agritourism, a dialect expression of "blacksmith's house" because in these lands, now furrowed by rows of vines, horses were once forged.
