Discover Champagne: Effervescent Elegance, much more than just bubbles.
How much do you know about Champagne?
With the new selection " Champagne: Effervescent Elegance " we travel to the heart of France, to the Champagne region, a universal symbol of luxury and excellence in the production of bubbles of unparalleled quality, so much so that they are often defined as the "king of sparkling wines".
This extraordinary area stands out not only for the use of grapes such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, which find their maximum expression in this terroir, but also for the unique winemaking techniques.
Champagne can be divided into several main production areas, each of which contributes to the distinctive character of the wine produced. The vineyards are located around small villages, about 150 kilometers from Paris, with production methods that have evolved the tradition through the méthode champenoise, known for the second fermentation in the bottle that creates the famous bubbles.
Over the years, Champagne has maintained its prestige worldwide thanks to its characteristics of freshness, complexity and finesse of the bubbles that have made it an undisputed protagonist in the celebrations. It is for these reasons that I invite you to discover the new box Territori da bere " Champagne: Effervescent Elegance ".

But what makes Champagne so distinctive?
The wines of this region are unique thanks to the méthode champenoise, historically developed as the signature of this prestigious sparkling wine production. This technique involves a second fermentation in the bottle, the wine is then left to age on the lees for a variable period. At the end of the refinement, the disgorgement process removes the accumulated sediment, and the final dosage involves the addition of a small amount of sugar, this determines the level of sweetness of the Champagne (Brut, Demi-Sec, etc.).
One of the undisputed protagonists is the Champagne Brut, whose popularity comes from its low sugar content and its fresh and dry profile. But no less renowned are the Extra Brut and the Demi-Sec, the latter ideal to accompany desserts thanks to its balanced sweetness. The Blanc de Blancs, made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, and the Blanc de Noirs, produced only with red grapes, are examples of the versatility and richness of styles that this region can offer.
The aim of the new box â Champagne: Effervescent Elegance â is to take you on a journey through the great names that have built the fame of this region, such as Maison Esterlin with its Champagne Brut RosĂš Aoc Eclat . RosĂ© Ăclat is produced with the saignĂ©e method, the most suitable for quality rosĂ© bubbles, and in fact every single bubble expresses class, refinement and elegance. A symbol of a new Champagne, but always with an eye on the past.
Another very famous Champagne is the Champagne Brut Aoc by Laurent Perrier , a label that best represents the essence of the Maison, a leading name in the champagne panorama. This Brut embodies finesse, power, freshness and elegance. Its style, developed in the 1950s, is based on the predominance of Chardonnay in the cuvée. The result is a champagne that enchants with its fresh notes and unique minerality. This champagne is a celebration of the Laurent Perrier style, it is the perfect expression of the savoir-faire of the Maison, bringing its long tradition and commitment to excellence in every sip.
Finally, the Champagne Cattier Brut Nature Premier Cru , one of the flagship labels of this maison. This zero-dosage champagne is the expression of the maximum purity of the terroir from which it comes, allowing the wine to express its natural characteristics without the addition of sugar at the end of the winemaking process. It is aged for over 4 years on the lees, a period that gives it remarkable structure and complexity. The result is evident in the purity of this champagne, a true tribute to the history of Cattier, which dates back to 1625, always maintaining a meticulous approach in the care of its vineyards and in the production of its champagnes. The Brut Nature Premier Cru best represents this combination of tradition and modernity, offering a rich and authentic sensory experience, capable of surprising with its elegance and intensity.
In conclusion, the Champagne tradition is distinguished by its ability to embrace innovation while maintaining an indissoluble bond with the land and history. Every sip of Champagne offers a rich and authentic sensory experience, celebrating the elegance and complexity of one of the most historic wine regions in the world.
Champagne: Effervescent Elegance
