Alto Adige Pinot Noir Doc 2021 - Tramin

Description

The Pinot Noir of the Tramin winery represents " the other side of the coin " of Alto Adige which is not only a land of whites , in fact it is produced with 100% Pinot Noir grapes which express themselves on the distinctive notes of finesse of the land of origin.

The nose is fruity and very elegant , hints of blackberry and currant, wild strawberries and fern, with hints of musk. In the mouth it is a riot of vitality , a sense of proportion, all with a great balance.

Why you should drink it

This is yet another wine of the highest quality produced by this winery, I'm talking about a product capable of expressing the elegance of a unique terroir and of transmitting the local peasant experience and culture, which has always been intimately linked to the mountains, to nature and at its own pace.

When to uncork it

A wine to be enjoyed at any time , if you want to find the perfect pairing drink it with roast meat or spicy cheeses .

How to drink it

Uncork it and let it breathe for a few minutes before drinking it, serve it at a temperature of 16°-18°C .

Vinification and Aging

The grapes are harvested by hand and placed in small containers. The maceration takes place at a controlled temperature with pumping over and daily immersion of the pomace to increase the release of the skins. Fermentation and aging in French barriques , large oak barrels and small steel containers for at least 6 months .

Territory

The grapes come from vineyards that extend over hills contiguous to the mountain , at an altitude between 350 and 450 masl. The vineyards are located in the municipalities of Egna , Ora and Montagna .

Soil

The soil is calcareous , clayey and gravelly.
