The Etna Bianco of the Firriato winery is a white wine produced from pure Carricante grapes on the north eastern side of the volcano, a bottle that enhances the characteristics of unique soils .
In the glass it is straw yellow with greenish reflections , on the nose clear hints of yellow flowers of mimosa and broom that well enhance the fruity nuances of white peach and ripe pear ; the mouth is firm , mineral , a sip of pure lava .
Because this Etna Bianco di Firriato is a full wine , with a persistent sapid line , it is a wine of long expression , for freshness and fragrance . It wraps the palate in a unicum that only the vocation of the terroir , combined with the capacity of the producer , is capable of generating.
Etna , with its volcanic soils, knows how to enhance the Carricante vine , enhancing its finesse and making it one of the great vines in the wine scene.

This Etna Bianco by Firriato speaks a straightforward language : I imagine it very well with aperitif snacks, perhaps just back from a day at the beach. A satisfying and always suggestive wine, always excellent with fresh cheeses, hot fish appetizers and with an excellent seafood pasta.

The territory on which this white Etna di Firriato is produced is located on the Etna volcano , precisely on the north-eastern side of the volcano (700 meters above sea level)
The soil is sandy loam , of volcanic matrix , with high drainage capacity .
