The Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG Rignana , 90% Sangiovese grapes and 10% Cabernet Franc , is a wine with a deep red color which has an intense and ample bouquet of red fruits on the nose, with pleasant spicy notes in the background, and is very soft and with a pleasantly persistent aftertaste.

Why you should drink it

Because if you are a Chianti enthusiast, this Riserva Rignana is a modern interpretation of it, but in an XL version.

Vinification and Aging

The Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG Rignana is a wine composed of 90% Sangiovese grapes and 10% Cabernet Franc . The harvest begins in October strictly by hand: the grapes are then left for 21 days in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures of a maximum of 27 °C. They are then left for 24 months in oak barrels.

Territory

The Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG Rignana was born in the vineyards of the homonymous farm, located in the Panzano area, in the heart of Greve in Chianti.

Soil

The land is located about 350 meters above sea level, with a south-southwest exposure, and of a clayey-limestone character.
