Description

The Bolgheri Rosso "Il Bruciato" by Guado al Tasso is a full-bodied and intense red wine.

Obtained from a blend of Merlot , Cabernet Sauvignon , Cabernet Franc , Petit Verdot and Syrah , it is one of the most famous and noble expressions in the world, always appreciated for its impeccable qualities. Warm and silky tones let emerge hints full of berries, red berries, balsamic herbs and spices.

The name derives from a wood that was totally burned by the inhabitants of the area in the 18th century as a sign of protest against the noble Della Gherardesca family, lords of Bolgheri at the time, who forbade farmers to hunt inside it.

Why you should drink it

Because the "Il Bruciato" wine is the breath of the wind, the strength of the earth and the passion of man, it is the demonstration of how these hills generate both visual and gustatory emotions .

A wine that contains the soul of an ancient terroir. A red that seduces, able to gracefully and elegantly tell the scents of a story made of refinement and success.

When to uncork it

Start lighting the stove, play some background music and call some friends for a really special treat!

In fact, this red is perfect to drink with friends , to accompany the ragĂč that is finishing cooking or with the meat that you cook in the oven.

How to drink it

I advise you to let the wine 'breathe' for 15-30 minutes before pouring it into the glass.

Vinification and Aging

The aging takes place for a few months in barriques .

Territory

The estate covers an area of about 320 hectares, in the heart of the Bolgheri amphitheater . The area is mostly flat and is located between the Tyrrhenian coast and the first hills that run parallel to the coast. The proximity of the sea gives the atmosphere an incredible luminosity , which makes the vegetation and the vine luxuriant .

Soil

The soil on which the estate extends is rather heterogeneous and is mainly composed of alluvial lands, sands , pebbles , clays and silt , with the presence of skeleton.
