Description

Vintage Tunina Venezia Giulia IGT is a white wine with intense aromas, produced by the Gorizia winery Jermann .

This label is the result of a blend that includes typical local vines, including Ribolla Gialla , Malvasia , Sauvignon , Chardonnay and a small quantity of Picolit . All the varieties are grown in a vineyard located in Ronco del Fortino near Gorizia, to whose former owner the label is dedicated.

The nose has a wide olfactory range with elegant and intense notes of honey and wild flowers, while the palate is extraordinarily intense , harmonious and dry.

Why you should drink it

Because Vintage Tunina by Jermann is a wine that has made the history of the cellar and has indelibly marked the panorama of white wines in Italy and in the world .

Cesare Pillon , a great food and wine journalist, used the following words to describe Vintage Tunina:

“Until now no one had ever realized it, yet it is the most extraordinary meditation wine that exists. And it is not in a passive sense (a wine to drink while meditating), but in an active sense: it is a wine that makes you meditate…

When to uncork it

The perfect combination to enjoy the maximum expression of this Vintage Tunina lies in dishes such as appetizers of smoked fish , grilled fish or aged cheeses and risotto with mushrooms.

How to drink it

To drink at 12-14 °C .

Vinification and Aging

The vinification involves the pressing of the grapes and the subsequent alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks. The aging is long and takes place partially in oak barrels .
