Description
The Valpolcevera Vermentino Doc "E Galëe" by Villa Cambiaso is a white wine produced with 100% Vermentino grapes , a strong and concrete example of territoriality and elegance , coming from an area of rare and exceptional vocation.
The nose has fruity , floral hints of green apple, orange blossom, then secondary hints of green vegetables and mineral sensations emerge. In the mouth it is dry , fresh , savoury , pleasant structure supported by the mineral component which gives it a savoury-bitter background.
Why you should drink it
Because it is a young wine that can be drunk immediately with intense and expressive aromas, a perfect experience to discover a wine that tells the story of the territory in both a traditional and direct way.
When to uncork it
Perfect to be enjoyed for a nice aperitif with friends or for dishes based on fish or white meat .
How to drink it
Drink it chilled, at a temperature of about 8°-10° .
Vinification and Aging
Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature with the addition of selected yeasts. During the month of fermentation, batonnage is carried out to keep the fine lees in suspension, the wine remains in contact with the fine lees until shortly before bottling , giving rise to spontaneous clarification .
Territory
We are in Val Polcevera , i.e. the hills surrounding Genoa , which have always been described as an " uninterrupted garden ": villas and monasteries surrounded by gardens and terraces on which there were vineyards, vegetable gardens and orchards.

The soil is mainly clayey characterized by a covering of outcropping quartz and flaking slates .
