Vinification and Aging

The grapes are harvested early and are softly pressed without crushing , with a yield of 45%. The first fermentation takes place in steel tanks , after which the wine is refermented in the bottle, without subsequent disgorgement. The refinement in the bottle is for at least 5 months before being released on the market but the wine continues its evolution in the bottle.

Territory

The grapes come from the vineyard in Lone, in western Liguria, at an altitude of 150 meters with exposure between south and south-west.

Soil

Predominantly calcareous and clayey soil.
