Description

Brunello di Montalcino is produced in the renowned Cantina di Montalcino , a farm immersed in the verdant Sienese hills, which has been producing this famous wine with 100% Sangiovese grapes for over 40 years .

We can say that even for this vintage we are one step away from perfection , receiving praise from experts and critics from all over the world, thanks to the extraordinary quality of the grapes harvested, which have reached perfect ripeness thanks to the climate and the territory.

On the nose there are aromas of blackcurrant, plum and other scents that are very reminiscent of licorice. In the mouth it is incredibly fresh , energetic with soft tannic sensations and a long and interminable finish.

Why you should drink it

Because in addition to the great quality recognized internationally , this is a pure wine , a wine that respects tradition and elevates its characteristics to incredible levels .

When to uncork it

PERFECT bottle to place in the center of the table when you want to pamper your guests, excellent in combination with grilled and roasted meats, a great companion to all game -based dishes.

How to drink it

Uncork it and let it ' breathe ' for an hour, serve it at a temperature of 18-20℃ .

Vinification and Aging

The vinification takes place with maceration on the skins for 15-20 days , to increase the structure and power of the Sangiovese. To be able to tame the polyphenols present, careful processing is required with delicate pumping over and fermentation at a temperature of 26-28°C. Aging in Slavonian oak barrels for at least 2 years .

Territory

The winery is located in a handkerchief of land that unfolds between Mount Amiata and the valleys of the Orcia , Asso and Ombrone rivers, where the vineyards are surrounded by a truly evocative panorama, which overlooks a hill amidst woods of holm oaks .

Soil

Soil rich in marine sediments and clayey sand .
